In the weeks following SAT's pupils in year 6 formed themselves into companies to either sell a product or provide a service on Business Day. Each company had 3 - 5 children in them. Once they had decided what they were going to sell or do they did some market research to find what out peoples favourite icecream flavours, milkshakes etc were.
Mrs Bradford gave each group £10 to spend on stock and when the day was over it had to be returned, along with £2 float. The groups sold items like slushies, milkshakes, popcorn, jewellery and much more. Each group then added up their total profit, chose a charity to donate it to and sent it off. The grand total for all the groups together was a whopping £553.29!
"Bands,Bracelets and More" earned a profit of £107.42! They made hundreds of bracelets made out of rubber bands weeks before Business Day.
A karaoke competition was held by Sharna,Lily,Ellie,Shauna and Codie in their milkshake bar.
Yummy!! Cupcake decorating with Shannon, Isobel, Gillian and Olivia C.
Enjoying the cupcakes they had just made!
Benjamin's group sold popcorn, fizzy drinks, milkshakes and sherbert sticks!

"Cinemagic"were showing the film "A dolphin's tale"
"Toys 4 U" sold people's unwanted things and earned over £100!
"Stationary & Sweets" were sold out in seconds!
Everyone had a lot of fun on Business Day, Year 6 learnt a lot about running a business and the charities benefited from our success.
